When the old you has ended but the new you hasn’t arrived yet
Lately I’ve been noticing something — in myself, and in almost everyone I speak to.
Not crisis.
Not awakening.
Not even a clear transition.
Something quieter.
A strange in-between.
People aren’t necessarily unhappy.
But they’re not energised either.
They’re not lost… yet they can’t quite locate themselves.
Things they once cared about don’t land the same way.
Motivation feels inconsistent.
Social energy is lower.
Decisions feel heavier than they should.
And the mind keeps asking:
What’s wrong with me?
Usually nothing is wrong. You’re just between identities.
